IRIDESCENT

IRIDESCENT is a jazz trio known for its original compositions, crafted by pianist and founder Francesco Cannito. The group was selected as a finalist in the prestigious Conad Jazz Contest, performing on stage at the Giardini Carducci during the Umbria Jazz Festival in July 2023. They also showcased their talent at the Beat Onto Jazz Festival in 2024.

Iridescence is the effect is often associated with surfaces that reflect light in unique ways, such as soap bubbles or minerals with special optical properties. The musical influences that shape their sound and compositions mirror these qualities, remaining anchored in jazz while subtly drawing from other musical realms
